Transaction cancelled from ECR
A transaction can be cancelled directly from the electronic cash register (ECR) before the cardholder presents their card for payment. Once the card is tapped, inserted, or swiped and the transaction is processed, cancellation is no longer possible. At that stage, only a refund or reversal applies.
Partial Transaction
A partial transaction is a larger transaction divided into several smaller ones, each reflecting a portion of the total amount.
